Conventional people are roused to fury by departures from convention, largely because they regard such departures as a criticism of themselves....

4th of july, independence and wormholes..

thoughts of independence come to mind this 4th. truthfully i am sort of lonely, but i am trying hard to make friends in this eastern town i live in all the while knowing i could hang out with my friends in the west if i was back there. it is so darn gorgeous here though and easy to live that i am torn thusly my own independence day is me being independent!! so what does independence mean to others i wonder. it is being free from bad things as well as the good. johnny my big mastiff is independent from his abusive owners. i am independent from the man i dearly love who no longer thinks i am worth respect or whatever... these are good things even if they mean a transition phase... and when your in the wormhole the only way to do it is to surf it like a big ol wave! so to anyone out there (and i am pretty darn sure no one reads this so this is a silly thing to say!) but to anyone out there celebrate all your independence from the bad stuff. and put out some gratitude energy for the day, your home , your friends and whatever loves you or whomever you love. i think towards that end i will upload a pic of my little winnie trying so hard to make friends with big johnny
happy 4th to all

let sleeping dogs lie

it's been a while since i posted and so much has gone on. someone i love a lot has gotten seriously bad news and that has colored my view on the world... but as tough as it is life goes on even when my view is filtered and i am trying to stop and make the time to celebrate the very small things that have such a powerful impact... today was the first time that Winnie my sweetheart of a frenchie girl lay down snuggled up to Johnny my sweetheart of a mastiff boy and they did this on purpose. Fala still is totally aloof to a snuggle up with him but my heart sure did smile at Winner doing it... here is the pic! it's the small things that add up to joy.

Sometimes

Sometimes, just the right person at the right time can do or say something so exactly right that it seems like the best gift one can receive. That happened for me yesterday. I look at it a solid proof that Spirit Exists. #1 because I am not the type of person who normally seeks out help! I prefer my autonomy and listening to others can make it clear I ought to take their advice and suggestions!! #2 finding the person who really lives and walks the way I would like to is a tough search.. just completing steps 1&2 above for me is enough proof Something is working for me in my life. Then #3 is hearing someone else be so spot on with their experience strength and hope is truly eye opening and even further proof. Sometimes every day Miracles happen in such a quiet way.

after the church of the sunday dog walk!

the second !
the first sermon!

church of the Sunday morning dog walk

Church.... never found the right one although Agape in Los ANgeles seems to fit the bill pretty well. here in New Jersey it has been Unitarian Universalist. love the messages hate the eternal fund raising. today's church though fit everyting just right... it was the church of the Sunday dog walk. had been feeling a bit (teensy bit) blue last night and resolved to turn to prayer. then fell asleep feeling better. this morning took the little girls out for the dog walk. and wouldn't you guess it?? i met a lovely coupe. the husband Jim, had spoken to me once before on a dog walk about how his wife's family in France had frenchbulldogs and she was off visiting her family. so to meet her and spend part of the morning watching her play with Fala who was charmed by Katerina from the first second she met her. Fala must be sooo French as she NEVER warms up to anyone as fast as she did to Katerina! i enjoyed a lengthy visit with them and we talked everything from gardens to house restoration. then we exchanged #'s and i went on to take Johnny Big Dog out for his walk. during this walk, i met a lovely neighbor who had put both of his boys through some seriously impressive colleges and was finally able to spend his money on himself and was busy gardening and restoring his really nice home. so lets recap, ...i went to bed blue and a bit lonely and prayed to Spirit about that and boom i now have plans to meet up with the couple i met and had a lovely chat with a neighbor. this is a Sunday church of the dog walk!!! thanks to my HP i feel taken care of and Watched over. my prayers this mornign will be gratitude. i ope everyone who feels lonely gets such a gift.

If you thought that the story of Rambo, the dog that the city of Brampton, Ontario seized from inside his owner's yard for looking sorta maybe kinda like a Pit Bull couldn't get much worse, you're in for a shock.

From the Brampton Guardian:

IPads don't Suck

I am loving this new device. Totally amazing.

Thoughts from the wormhole ;
when your in one of those days that nothing goes right, well then you got to surf that wormhole!. Those are the days when laughter and humor are your way out. Fala says," a tugli to chase helps me get out of the wormhole..." and Winnie recommends, " a yummy bit of liver treat always restores my equilibrium."
