church of the Sunday morning dog walk
Church.... never found the right one although Agape in Los ANgeles seems to fit the bill pretty well. here in New Jersey it has been Unitarian Universalist. love the messages hate the eternal fund raising. today's church though fit everyting just right... it was the church of the Sunday dog walk. had been feeling a bit (teensy bit) blue last night and resolved to turn to prayer. then fell asleep feeling better. this morning took the little girls out for the dog walk. and wouldn't you guess it?? i met a lovely coupe. the husband Jim, had spoken to me once before on a dog walk about how his wife's family in France had frenchbulldogs and she was off visiting her family. so to meet her and spend part of the morning watching her play with Fala who was charmed by Katerina from the first second she met her. Fala must be sooo French as she NEVER warms up to anyone as fast as she did to Katerina! i enjoyed a lengthy visit with them and we talked everything from gardens to house restoration. then we exchanged #'s and i went on to take Johnny Big Dog out for his walk. during this walk, i met a lovely neighbor who had put both of his boys through some seriously impressive colleges and was finally able to spend his money on himself and was busy gardening and restoring his really nice home. so lets recap, ...i went to bed blue and a bit lonely and prayed to Spirit about that and boom i now have plans to meet up with the couple i met and had a lovely chat with a neighbor. this is a Sunday church of the dog walk!!! thanks to my HP i feel taken care of and Watched over. my prayers this mornign will be gratitude. i ope everyone who feels lonely gets such a gift.

Sounds like the perfect Sunday. Agape in LA, I went there once for a Halloween party; it's like in Santa Moncia, or Culver City or somewhere in the west part of town. I'm a recent transplant from LA myself. Born in the 'Clair but have spent my time in LA since the early '80's. Montclair does have it's charm. Love the cat--looks like mine (just put him down about a month ago after 17 yrs). I just found your blog by accident.
